I sell my miniature food artwork for money. That's a very big reason for me creating, and we can't ignore it. But here's the key difference: I make tiny cuisine because I love to do it, and I believe that it can help make your life a little bit better. When you buy something from me, Amelia, at the Frippery Factory, you aren't just getting a lump of polymer clay. You're getting something that I made totally by hand, totally for you. And I want your experience to be just as unique and well-crafted as the item you've purchased.

Principle 2: Food as Memories

We all have food-related memories, and one of my favorite things to do as an artist is to play with those connections. I can attach a memory to every piece I create, and I bet you can too--and that's what makes miniature food such a powerful vehicle for reliving good times and good eats. Whether you buy a piece I design or collaborate with me to create the item you've been envisioning, you can be sure that it will both remind you of and be a part of happy times past and future.

I've created my artwork, and my business, by hand. I believe in being myself, and I want you to be yourself as well. Throughout every aspect of the Frippery Factory, from price quotes to blog posts, I strive to bring my unique perspective into everything I do. What I've created isn't set in stone. It evolves every single day, and I want you to be a part of that, whether that means buying one of my pieces or simply hanging out with me on Twitter, swapping ideas and sharing bad puns.
